620 Running Family,

I would like to strongly encourage all of our athletes and their families to participate in the upcoming Vandegrift Viper Distance Festival Community 1600m Race. This event will be a fundraiser for the Vandegrift XC Booster Club and will occur as part of the High School Viper Distance Festival Races. It will be an exciting night with some of the fastest High School runners in the state! I hope everyone can attend!

- This meet groups the athletes into heats based on their current 1600 meter PR (personal record).

- This is an all age event. Parents, Grandparents, siblings and friends are welcome to participate as well!! I already have 1600m race times for most of our 620 athletes. However, if a sibling, friend, or parent wants to compete, I will need an approximate PR from the last year (not your PR from 25 years ago in College, unless you still run like that :)
