I would like to strongly encourage all of our athletes and their families to participate in the upcoming Schrader 1600. We try to bring our full team to this event each year and it is a lot of fun for everyone!

- This is not a full track meet, but rather many heats of a single event, the 1600 meter run (4 laps).
- The focus for this event is all about helping the runners attain a PR (personal record).
- This event groups runners into heats based on their current 1600m PR, not age group.
- This is an all age event. Parents, Grandparents, siblings and friends are welcome to participate as well!! I already have 1600m race times for most of our 620 members. However, if a sibling or parent wants to compete, I will need an approximate 1600m PR from the last two years.
- Tx.milesplit.com will be broadcasting this event on its website, and there is an elite heat with college athletes and Professionals at the end of the night.
